Training and qualifications are really important to me…

Perhaps that is because I began my training to be a therapist later in life. Going to University as a full-time student in my mid-thirties was challenging to say the least; however I was determined to fulfill a long held dream and goal to become a therapist. Having been out of education for some years, and despite running my own successful Business Consultancy practice, I had to ‘prove’ my ability to undertake an undergraduate course before they would even consider accepting me. I successfully did this – passing an Open University Access course – and I was accepted to Oxford Brookes University to study an Honours Degree in Psychology. Following my degree I chose to train in Clinical Hypnotherapy and set up my practice in 2016 while continuing to add to my knowledge. I am proud and delighted to have attained an MSc in Clinical Hypnotherapy with the University of West London in 2020.
